What are the benefits of integrating Secure Web Gateway MCAs? Read more about how the MCAS device acts as a firewall and router, allowing you to connect multiple devices to the Internet securely.
Secure Web Gateway MCAs
Secure Web Gateway MCAs is our latest multi-cloud offering. Web Gateway Security is the gateway to the Cloud. Security Analytics is ManageEngine’s SIEM solution that enables enterprises to detect and prevent attacks, intrusions, and cyber threats.
Web Application Firewall is another product that automatically secures web applications. Based on customers’ requests, we have created an integrated solution that includes all these technologies on the same platform. Secure Web Gateway is a cloud-based gateway that provides real-time protection from Internet threats to any device or system.
This is without requiring any software installation or configuration on the client side. So, the solution protects against malware, ransomware, phishing, and drive-by attacks. It helps administrators secure mobile devices and web applications.
Moreover, the solution also allows secure access to web applications and services through a single pane of glass. The solution can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud.
Security Management
The ‘Security Management’ alerts and recommendations related to your managed devices. It also includes other security-related information such as scan logs and device details of the managed devices.
Remote Support – Remote Desktop
The Remote Desktop feature allows you to access the client machines using a web browser. This is with or without installing any additional software. You can access a remote machine from the web portal, via the ‘Remote Desktop’ link in the ‘Support’ tab.
Remote Support – Command Prompt
The Command Prompt feature provides an in-band telnet connection to an agent machine over SSH. You can execute commands on a managed device from the web portal and troubleshoot network issues remotely. This feature can be accessed via the ‘Command Prompt link in the ‘Support’ tab.
Security Event Logs – Log Sources
ManageEngine Security Center allows you to collect logs from various log sources. These are such as firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint, proxy servers, and routers. So, the solution collects all these logs and correlates them to detect attacks and intrusions automatically.
The correlation rules specify how different log entries are combined to detect an attack or intrusion attempt. Also, the Security Event Logs page shows you all the correlation rules that are set up in Security Analytics and their associated log sources.
Security Information and Event Management
Security Analytics is a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solution. It helps enterprises detect and prevent attacks, intrusions, and cyber threats. So, it collects logs from multiple sources (such as firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint, proxy servers, routers, etc.) in an enterprise network and correlates them to detect anomalies.
This indicates a potential attack or intrusion attempt by hackers. Also, Security Analytics integrates with other enterprise systems. These are such as Active Directory, DHCP server, and VMware Center to ensure the accuracy of log data collected from different sources.
Security Analytics also provides social media monitoring capabilities. Also, it helps enterprises detect possible security incidents from public sources. These are such as Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
Web Application Firewall is a cloud-based application firewall that secures web applications against attacks. So, these are such as cross-site scripting (XSS), SQL injection, directory traversal attacks, and buffer overflow attacks. It helps administrators enforce security policies in a web application by blocking specific HTTP requests when they are suspected of containing malicious payloads.
