What do you get when you combine an advanced cloud network, enhanced mobile experience and powerful Wi-Fi technologies? The Velocloud SD-WAN system.
We’re proud to say it’s the first SD-WAN cloud network solution in the world that provides enterprise-level security and performance to your mobile devices.
Here are some things we love about Velocloud:
No mobile plan or device required
No hardware, software or apps to install on your devices or computers
Easy to deploy and configure – no IT support required
Automatic failover and load balancing for seamless connectivity on Wi-Fi and tethered connections (e.g., 3G/4G)
Fast Internet access anywhere you go – works with all network protocols, services, and applications.
Multiple site-to-site VPN options
Multiple site-to-site VPN options (e.g., transport VPN, GRE over IPsec) with integrated tunneling (e.g., IPSec over GRE) and dynamic gateway switching – works only with Velocloud SD-WAN service. This can be used for MSPs with multiple locations that need to provide secure connectivity for their customers.
The tunneling options allow for easy integration of other existing networks into their client’s solutions. Plus, this option integrates with our existing CDN solutions for even more options!
Advanced security features include DDoS mitigation, stateful packet inspection firewall, intrusion prevention system, and custom firewall rules based on your specific network needs – all available at no additional cost!
Velocloud SD-WAN Cloud Network
The Velocloud SD-WAN system is a cloud-based next-generation solution for small and midsize businesses, mobile workers and distributed enterprises that need to connect to multiple locations securely, reliably and cost-effectively.
Why Velocloud SD Wan?
As an MSP or IT consultant, you have many options for WAN connectivity. However, there are few solutions that offer the same level of flexibility, reliability and functionality as the Velocloud SD-WAN network, with all of its advanced security features included at no additional cost.
Velocloud SD-WAN system is:
1. Cost-Effective
2. Fully Managed
3. Cloud-Based
4. Secure
5. Simple To Use
6. Leverages Existing WAN Links
What is DDoS mitigation?
DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) is a cyber-attack in which multiple compromised systems attack a target, such as a website or a server, causing a denial of service for users of the targeted system.
There are two types of DDoS attacks:
1. Application layer attacks — These attacks target application-level services and protocols, such as HTTP, SMTPS and DNS. With an application layer DDoS attack, the traffic generated by the botnet is more complex and difficult to filter out at the network level.
2. Volume Based Attacks – These attacks have the objective to overload the bandwidth or resources of a targeted system by sending large amounts of ICMP packets to the target system. This type of attack requires fewer resources than application-layer attacks, making it less expensive to execute.
What is VPN?
VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a technology that allows you to create secure connections over untrusted networks like the Internet. VPNs are most often used by remote workers but are also used to securely connect mobile users via Wi-Fi.
What is a transport VPN?
Transport VPNs extend a private network across an existing network infrastructure through the use of tunneling protocols such as PPTP or L2TP/IPSec. It allows a company’s employees to connect to the corporate network from remote locations such as home or while traveling, using their laptop computers.
Transport VPNs are commonly used to connect corporate offices together via the Internet, but they can also be used to link remote offices, telecommuters and mobile users.
What is a site-to-site VPN?
Site-to-site VPNs use encryption to secure all communication between two endpoints on an intranet and are often used with large enterprises and service providers who need additional security for data traveling between locations of their organization.
Site-to-site VPNs allow you to connect to multiple locations securely over the internet at higher speeds than with traditional WAN links while consuming fewer resources on your network.
