What Is Application Control Sophos?
Application Control Sophos is a security feature that prevents users from accessing certain applications. However, if you want to manage your users via Active Directory and do not have the WebAdmin console, then you will need to use a command line tool called ‘setsebool’. This tool can be used to set or modify SELinux booleans. It is a type of rule that controls whether a particular action can be performed or not.
For example, you can use the ‘setsebool’ tool to prevent a user from using FTP or ssh by setting all the required booleans. To use the tool, run it with ‘-P’ followed by the boolean value that you want to set for the user account.
